About this project

Pointlr is a service designed to integrate point economies into the platforms you use every day. Currently supporting Discord, Pointlr empowers users to create groups, engage in a variety of activities, and earn points. These points can be accumulated and used within the platform, enhancing the overall user experience and fostering a sense of achievement and community.

Profiles

Every Discord user who has interacted in a chat with Pointlr has a profile. These profiles allow for detailed insight on interaction with the Pointlr bot and guilds this user participates in. Only users who have linked their Discord accounts to Pointlr receive a checkmark next to their name.

Groups

Groups on Pointlr allow users to chat and compete against their friends in a variety of activities.

Chat

Each Pointlr group has a chat, and within this chat, there are channels where users can communicate live.

Coin Flips

The coin flip feature in Pointlr allows users to wager points for a 50% chance to double or lose them.

Duels

Pointlr has a feature named "Duels". This feature allows users to duel each other and wager points. The winner of the duel takes all.

Gifts

Every message sent in a Discord guild with Pointlr has a chance to trigger a gift event. Each gift has a different chance of occurring and point reward associated with it.

Heist Event

The heist feature allow users to team up and wager points in a chance to win a large amount of points. Users who wager more receive more in return and the more users that participate the higher chance of a win.

Point Transfers

Pointlr allows users to share their points with other members in a group.
